“Love Covers” is a musical stage play based on the book, Cover Girls in the Church, written and directed by Dr. Dorie McKnight. The scenarios covered in this play are about relationships and how to not just survive but thrive in this thing called life!

The story begins with Ruth: Leaving everything she knew for a friend in need but even with her past so far behind her, will she ever truly be free from it? Now meet Sheba: Trusting a friend to help her with her lifelong dream. Will the friendship or the dream survive? Valarie: Living in a fantasy, she convinces herself to forsake all for a toxic love. Where will it leave her in the end? When the miracle doesn’t come, when the dreams are shattered, when the masks come off, when they can no longer cover themselves, They all will find out, how Love Covers All.

Now she is taking the messages of hope and Launching the LOVE COVERS the World Tour, Cover Girls in the Church is on the move!

A healing message on covering based on a book written by Dr. Dorie McKnight,
Cover Girls in the Church – The 11th Commandment Thou Shall Not Tell”

This message is not about religion but relationships. It is our relationships to one another that we make decisions and use them as the barometer by which we make our choices For many people, life issues have locked their mind and heart in a prison where they fell prey to a defense mechanism called covering. If we can define and then understand the Cover Girls mentality, we will be able to pull up the root of abandonment, rejection, jealousy, and other behaviors that affect our relationships and hinder our destiny.
The message is designed to teach the participants principles that are shared in the chapters of which are:
• How to be the original you
• How to heal what you are hiding
• How to deal with unequally yoked relationships
• How to avoid negative coverings
• How to cover someone correctly
• How to recognize the Ultimate Cover of God’s love, which covers all!

The book, “Cover Girls in the Church, The 11th Commandment: Thou Shall Not Tell,” has lit a fuse that has not only established Cover Girls In The Church, Intl., but started a movement that has blazed a trail of national conferences, book clubs, courses, a prison ministry, and throughout many churches.

Overview of ME:
McKnight Enterprises was established to house and showcase the many avenues of outreach and tools created by Dorie McKnight. A native Minnesotan, she has been actively serving in the community and churches since her teenage years. She has a long history of service, and she participated in and founded many outreach ministries. Now in 2012, she has declared it is her season to help her community on another level. Her desire is to continue to be a blessing. Her dream is to develop and acquire streams of income to help reach those who need a hand up and out, and hopefully one day soon to help find and provide jobs and housing.
Dorie McKnight is an author, teacher, playwright, life-skills coach and volunteer at Shakopee Federal Prison. By using her teaching tools and working with others with like-minded vision, her desire is to provide safe places of healing and restoration to the broken.
Who will be connected to ME:
Whosoever will partner with M.E. financially, prayerfully and volunteer their time to help rebuild lives. M.E. will conduct business for profit but has a non-profit ministry link as well.
The City of David, Inc., (Minneapolis, MN) which is a 501(c) 3 multifaceted organization. The founder and president is Dr. Dorie McKnight. Ministering to others has always been a part of her life since the age of 18. She has been very instrumental in helping the community. Her organization has partnered with others to host many other community outreach events!

My prayer is that minds, souls and hearts will be healed, set free and delivered through this dynamic play. That someone will say, hey that’s me and I’m not alone in this after all. I’m just honored that Dr. Dorie was led by God to do this. And she let Him use her as the vessel for this to be birthed out of!!!
